Why is it called Milk Poetry? Because poetry is good for you – and delicious! 

Look out for our red-and-yellow striped tent, filled to the brim with nourishing poetry, stories and creative workshops for children and adults alike.

When you need a breather from dancing, you can regenerate your energy with us. We love to play with words in all kinds of thought-provoking ways, from punk poetry and eco poetry to beat-boxing and and storytelling that transcends words.

We’ll be announcing our line up soon, including The Little Things Theatre Company, who are back with a brand new show, and our ever-popular Valley Fest Open Mic, which will have an optional theme of “regeneration” this year to celebrate our festival’s pro-regenerative farming ethos.

Be warned, you may write your first poem, find yourself volunteering to get up on stage, and go home thinking “I could be a poet or storyteller too!”
