The winner will play on Friday 2nd August between 19:00 – 20:00 to warm up our weekend.
Here’s the deal:
You’ll need to be over 18 with excellent taste, plus ace at curating and blending music.
Please note that this is an early evening set – so you’ll need to cater carefully for this slot. This isn’t about playing an absolute BANGER of a set. It’s one to nicely warm up the weekend.
You’ll be judged on your ability to mix AND your choice of tunes to create the mood.

Be sent 2 x Adult weekend Valley Fest tickets
£50 towards travel expenses (if needed)
The DJ Kit you’ll have the option to use:
4 CDJs (Pioneer Cdj 2000 nxs 2 )
2 mixers (Pioneer DJM 900 nxs 2)
1 alternative mixer (Allen Heath Xone 96)
2 Technics 1210
However you can also bring your own controller.
Shortlisted entries will be notified by 15 June and asked to submit proof of age.
Please note we will be opening another DJ competition for UNDER 18s in June. The winner of this one will play in the Tow and Hitch pub at Valley Fest.
