Valley Fest is a small festival located on a working organic farm. Most of the activity takes place in the main festival field. There are some pathways available, but much of the site has a grassy and sloping terrain, which can be difficult to traverse, especially in bad weather. Most of the venue entries have a flat and accessible entrance.
Valley Fest recognises that some festival-goers require assistance from a carer or personal assistant (PA). We offer free Carer/PA tickets to those who are assisting someone over the age of 18. To anyone assisting someone under the age of 18, we can offer a free Accessibility ticket either to the person requiring care or to one adult carer, provided that another fully paying adult is also in attendance.
Free Carer/PA or Accessibility tickets are available to individuals who are in receipt of one of the following:
- Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility.
- In receipt of Enhanced Rate Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
- Or Registered Deaf or Blind.
- Letter from a medical professional.
- Access Card (specifying an Essential Companion for PA ticket requests).
- Blue Badge (permitted for parking only requirements).
- Other requests are discretionary.
Please note that if you have already purchased a ticket for your carer/PA, these can not be refunded. If you have any questions please contact our team on accessibility@valleyfest.co.uk.
Carer/PA tickets are linked to the lead ticket and are non-transferable and cannot be sold. The carer ticket is provided on the expectation that your carer is willing and able to assist you throughout your festival visit.
There is a separate reserved accessible camping area. Please contact us in advance if you wish to camp here.
Accessible toilets will be available in the campsite and the main arena.
If you have any queries on festival accessibility, please contact us on accessibility@valleyfest.co.uk.
PA tickets and passes for the accessible campsite and car park will be sent out approximately 1-2 weeks before the festival.
