This year we have changed things around a little when it comes to the festival pub. The original Ring O’ Bells team have a new Tipi bar and hang out called The Queen’s Head. Well, we thought it was time for a new beginning and each year we shall rename the pub in line with our tribute act on Sunday afternoon.
This year it’s Flash: a tribute to Queen. Expect to kick back to laid back reggae, soul, funk, disco and house. If you’re looking for shelter from either the sun or hopefully not the rain while sipping a pint or two, the Queens Head is the place to be. High on the brow of the festival overlooking the whole site and to the lake beyond, it’s one of the best spots of the festival.
We also love to support local talent performing live throughout the day, including Tina Plachino and Kit Lear and some surprise guests. On Saturday night the music picks up with the M&M Soundsystem. If you have been to Valley Fest before you will know that M & M bring the party tunes and attract a really big fun crowd to raise the roof between 10.30pm to 2 am. Over the weekend you can hear Rob Da Baker, DJ Withy, DJ Chalky, DJ Pete Foxen, DJ COSMOS, DJ Joshua, DJ Fawltey amongst others. See you down the Queen’s Head then……..
